I DON'T CARE The pin window function now works as intended, gone are the days of windows deciding that the're going to randomly move on you. The personal locations no longer automaticly folder themselves when you have 5+BM's. I Love you again CCP. The pos's fitting service is now functioning better than it has been.
My personal recomendation is you delete everyone who is only concerned with window positions, i know it's inconvienent, but it doesn't appear that they're looking at the bigger issue. YOU FIXED THE PROBLEMS!!
These changes...fixes, reversions to previous ways, whatever you want to call them are amazing, and the rest of the patch looks good too, although not many of those issues i had been experiencing.
THANK YOU, Developers, GM's and everyone involved in the design process. You're doing a fantastic job, I for one greatly appriciate it.
I'm grateful that some of the worst bugs introduced in crucible got fixed.
I don't care about repositioning the windows after a patch. That's minor annoyance. I love that the windows are character specific though I understand why some people would disagree (this should be option or at least easily transferrable from char-to-char).
What I do care about is that when doing pi I have to open and reposition all 9 of my cargo containers (they used to open nicely next to each other just the way they were when they closed, now they open on top of each other so that only the top one can be accessed) 5 times (since they still close after jumping, undocking, docking etc.). Thats 45 open-repositions per day (actually 90 since I do it on two accounts). This I didn't have to do before the crucible (just had to open them). If this is how the pin window is intended to work (pin-locking them just means they open like this and I can't move them) I have to agree that CCP should really hire some usability experts to take their ui programmers' heads out of their dark holes. |
